NEW SCOOP! Revolution's stand to be its power supply!

According to a feature in the maiden issue of the Official Nintendo Magazine (street Date: February 16, 2006), the Revolution's stand will be its power supply.
"This stand also acts as a power supply for the DVD-case sized Revolution hardware"

So does that mean we have to sit the machine vertical? Maybe yes, but as you can see in this picture from the patent filed by Nintendo, there will be a traditional plug for a power adapter just like in your Gamecube. At first I thought that the stand is just well, a stand as you can see here. I guess, its best to wait for official confirmation.

Revolution to be a DS Download Service Hub

This is old, but I think worth mentioning again.

In an interview with Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, he said that Revolution users will be able to download demos for the Nintendo DS much like the Nintendo DS Download Service found across Japan.

"Interestingly, the Nintendo boss also confirmed that Revolution users will be able to download demos for the Nintendo DS to the console and then transfer them wirelessly to their handhelds."

Puzzlers - Not a problem
God games - Better than ever
Music games - Drumming, Baton waving, better than ever but some games may require peripherals other than the conroller
