Famitsu Scans: Revolution Info
In the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly (Issue #861), the staff featured the Revolution. Most of the information printed are known to the readers of this blog. But what's interesting is that Famitsu stated that Nintendo had 221 published titles for NES/SNES/N64. They also used a Final Fantasy V pic to tell us it is possible to play other companies' old games through Revolution. So there are 221 games that can be downloaded from the download service (in Japan) not counting the possible third-party downloads.

On a sidenote, Famitsu also featured this week's "Japanese Next-Gen Console Interest." Now if only developer's interest is this good.
1) Revolution 226 points - 43%
2) PS3 183 points - 34.8%
3) Xbox360 117 points - 22.2%

EDITOR'S NOTE: Sorry for the foggy translation. The 221 published games includes GC titles. So it actually means 221 back-catalog games will be playable (not counting the third-party downloads) out of the box!
